THE LITTLE PRINCE was first published by the publishers Reynal & Hitchcock, Inc., on 6th April,1943. The french edition, LE PETIT PRINCE, was published a little bit later by the same publishers.
Five hundred twenty five of the English and 260 of the French copies were specially autographed by the author. Among them 25 copies of English edition and ?? copies of French edition were kept for the Author and the Publishers. Residual copies were sold in the market.
Three copies I have.
Dast jucket was lost. The corners of the cover are worn.
Quite the same as the 1st printing of the English edition except the signature page.

Signature page was added after the free front end paper. The serial number and the Signature of the Author were written by hand. These are #477 and #487.
