THE LITTLE PRINCE was first published by the publisher Reynal & Hitchcock, Inc., on 6th April,1943. The French edition, LE PETIT PRINCE, was published a little bit later by the same publisher.
Two hundred sixty of the French copies were specially autographed by the author.
The book has the jacket, however, there is no number on the spine of the jacket.
The signatures are not so neat.
 There is a "crow" over the rock mountains; that is an evidence for the real printing of the early editions. Other parts of this book are quite the same as that of the ordinal 1st edision of the French version. |
