This is not the original but a reprint copy. The original edition was specially ordered by the Cabinet of Forein Affaires of France and donated to the high dignitaries of Tuareg in Algeria.
After the end of the World War II the independent movement of colonies occured all over the world. In french north Africa anti-France riots raised in Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. Tunisia and Morocco became independent as a member of French Union, respectively, on 1955. On the contrary, both french poeple and the french government splited into pros and cons for the independence of Algeria. Charles de Gaulle became the Prime Minister and started Cinquième République. He needed to appease Algerians. The Caninet of French Foreign Affairs ordered and printed the Tamachek edition of Le Petite Prince. The books were presented to Touareg persons in high rank.

The revised copy was issued for the 50 Anniversary of Antoine de Saint-Exupery.

It seems likely that there is no section of "travel from a planet to another" and also no "Roses of the Earth".
